Full-stack engineer

Our customer is a platform for booking hotel rooms for business trips using algorithms that save companies time, effort, and money. The platform rapidly locates appropriate hotel rooms at the best value prices as well as according to other needs such as the hotel’s location, travel destination, etc. The platform can save organizations a significant part of business travel expenses by offering special wholesale prices and central enterprise management capabilities on one interface that provides a friendly user experience.

‍Requirements:‍

● 6+ years of commercial experience in Full-stack engineer role
● proven expertise in Node.js, JavaScript, React
● experience with MongoDB
● familiar with AWS (EC2, ECS, Lambda, S3), CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions), and observability tools (CloudWatch, OpenSearch)
● solid understanding of software engineering fundamentals, system design, and clean code principles
● ability to take responsibility for features and drive them from idea to production
● proactive and reliable, with a natural ability to explore problems, suggest solutions, and move work forward independently
● good communication skills and Upper-Intermediate English (B2)

What you will do:‍

● design, develop, and maintain core functionality of the platform using TypeScript - Node.js and React
● work with an existing monolithic backend, improving architecture, stability, and code quality over time
● build and integrate cloud-based solutions using AWS and serverless components
● take ownership of features across the full lifecycle: from technical discovery and implementation to production and support
● collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to explore solutions and make informed technical decisions
● identify areas for improvement, refactor legacy parts of the system, and suggest pragmatic optimizations
● actively participate in technical discussions, sharing ideas and helping shape the product and engineering practices
