Software engineer

Our client is a brand new cybersecurity startup with a mission to secure client-side web applications so that customers can deliver a flawless digital user experience to their clients.  Businesses come to our customer to enable proactive client-side security programs. Data protection capabilities take the pain and ambiguity out of client-side security threat analysis, detection, response, and prevention. These products help organizations uncover supply chain risks and protect their client-side attack surface.

‍Requirements:
‍
● At least 3 years of hands-on experience building web applications
● Substantial experience working with Node.js and Vue.js
● Experience working with NoSQL databases like: MongoDB as well as ElasticSearch
● Ability to write easily understandable and testable code with an eye towards long-term maintainability
● Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to designers, support, and other developers
● Strong computer science fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, programming languages, distributed systems, and information retrieval
‍● English — upper-intermediate or higher

Would be a plus:
‍
● Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, or equivalent training, fellowship, work experience
● Startup mindset and pragmatic, hands-on attitude

‍What you will do:
‍
● Develop a clean and maintainable code
● Build and enhance our client-side security product suite
● Improve the performance and reliability of the web application
● Build product features, design and implement API methods
● Perform end-to-end application development (including UI, design and testing)
