Back-end (Node.js) engineer (Contractor)

Our client is a B2B SaaS company in the telecommunications sector that develops an advanced CRM platform designed to accelerate sales velocity. Their solution goes beyond standard lead management, providing complex workflow automation for backend operations and is currently utilized by a major telecom provider. In this team, you’ll have the freedom to make technical decisions as you build customized sales workflows and integrate the system with tools like DocuSign and HubSpot.

Requirements:

● 3+ years of experience as a Back-end Engineer with Node.js
● strong hands-on experience with Node.js and TypeScript for building scalable applications
● proven expertise in designing and implementing RESTful APIs and working with SQL databases
● proficiency in containerization using Docker for consistent environment deployment
● hands-on experience with CI/CD pipeline automation using GitHub Actions
● familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles, specifically using Terraform
● creative, pragmatic mindset for solving complex backend and integration challenges
● English - Intermediate level or higher

Would be a Plus:

● experience with AWS cloud services, including SQS, Lambda, ECS, and S3
● solid understanding of database management and optimization with MySQL and Redis
● proven ability to integrate third-party services such as HubSpot and DocuSign APIs

What you will do :

● develop and maintain backend services using Node.js, ensuring clean, scalable, and maintainable code
● participate in the design and implementation of APIs and integrations with external services
● collaborate closely with frontend and backend developers, BA, PM and product stakeholders to deliver end-to-end features
● take ownership of assigned tasks from implementation to production release
● actively participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and solution design
● ensure transparent communication about progress, blockers, and dependencies
